ok .well this is how it's working, at least what I've got down pretty good
go to the flyby view,
then turn on the default mouse view in FSX , this is done (for those who don't know) by holding down the spacebar and then using the mouse to pan,
which is a pain , what I did was set up the button on my X52 above the slider on the throttle and because I installed the saitek mouse software
I can then pan with the mouse tongle... thingy and nnot have to hold down a key (the spacebar )
OK so when you first turn it on, a cross hair jiggy ma do pops up in the center of the screen
watch the flyby then move the cross over to the left about half way between middle and left edge of the screen
this would be one quarter of the screen from left to right.. ok the next pass will be from starboard.
then move the mouse a little back toward center like one third from left to right and the flyby will strat on the starboard side
and finnish up from the port rear crossing over the top of the AC as it flys by the camera
well, the camera looks like it's moving toward the aircraft as it passes over the top at to the left rear of the aircraft
as you move back to center , a little at a time the view will be more toward the center of the aircraft in the flyby,, even to a head on shot
but , it will get to where it sometimes restarts from port........it's hinky that way.....it just does what I call a "Microsoft" I can't axplain it yet , but gimme some time. ;-)
(and I'll need more than a sec .... so Nigel ...please...........no not you.. the other nigel
If you move the mouse cross hair to the right of center the flyby view will start to shorten up
to the point where it is only traveling a 1/8 to a 1/4 mile before it starts over
keep the mouse in the center of the screen from top to bottom though.. you can move it a little (up and down of center)
and you get a little lower of higher view but not much...if any .. I could have drempt that part... |-)
anyways ... a little different view for to capture screenies......
It's Not an exact science ... in fact it's not anything to do with science........... or .........Thomas Dolby
but with a loud prop .............it
is poetry in motion
Happy New Year . hope you have soome fun with it
