Again, wonderful photographs Tonks though I have two questions........Who's the lady....errr, sorry.......Captain?Image

Now that co-pilot you have on board......Possibly a pax?.......because he's not wearing his flight overalls and no officer rank showing on the shoulders of the jumper.

Regards
Nigel.

I see a bit of rudder trimming going on there...Perhaps you have just been doing some Assymetric practice?...Or do you need to tweek it sometimes in normal operation...I remember in the Trident we used to put on a notch and a half of rudder trim as the gear was going down (nosewheel being well left of the aircraft centreline).

Hi Peter..

I don't think that's rudder trim.. too far forward. If you note where the pilots hand is, look aft and you'll see the rudder trim. She has her hand on the AP turn control me thinks

Noting the attitudes of both pilots.. I think that shot was taken while on the racetrack. The nav repeater would tend to lean toward this too ;-)

Yum Yum :)

Speed looks quite high when compared to the Tonka's Mr T at around the .7 mark.. assuming you were at the same alt

No mate.. it's knowing what to look for and being fortunate enough to do that once for real ;-) The Mach Meter is quite easy to read and it's around the .7 mark. When we fuelled the Tonka's.. we were around the .6 - .62 mark. It's impossible to tell what stage of the sortie they're in but the repeater (little black tv) on the centre console appears to be showing the racetrack. Perhaps women drivers drive fast.. I know a few that do
