Hi Ben..

No idea what Shorts are doing advertising a French aircraft unless of course they intended to manufacture under license or hoped for something less. Calling it a Shorts Harland Belfast Breguet 941 is more than a little misleading :think: Only the French took it up by the looks of things.

Hi,

I think it's the guy who's selling the advertisement that is throwing in the curve ball. The advert says it's a Breguet 941 with 'UK enquiries to Short....' so
Shorts were just the UK agents by the looks of things.

I remember seeing one of these a long time ago.

Hving been reminded, I looked it up http://aerostories.free.fr/appareils/Br941/page2.html

McDonnell 188 in Eastern and American colours but no Shorts variant.
