Atlantis found ?

Post by Paul K »

The Daily Telegraph isn't exactly given to publishing things like this, which makes it even more remarkable.

Make sure you click through all 5 images, as they zoom in on the location. Be it Atlantis, or the city that inspired the legend, it certainly is interesting.

Hmm.. if that's a 'Grid of Streets' and the grid is the size of Wales.. were these people giants??

Interesting nontheless ;-)

Yes I thought ' the size of Wales' was a bit of an exageration too. 'The size of Wales' is one of those commonly used yardsticks, as in...an area of rainforest the size of Wales is chopped down every year. Its like the length of a football pitch, the height of a double decker bus or Nelson's column.

Anyway, I'm awaiting the logical and mundane explanation for it. There always is one. :-( ;-)

Oh yes. My personal feeling is that it's a landing site (or the remains thereof) left by our predecessors who were of course, Aliens from outer space ;-)

Not wanting to be a smart@rse.. the first thing I thought of was some sort of survey. It reminded me very much of tracks we used to follow when minehunting :)
