DH104 Sound

Post by Patron7 »

Hi Guys,

I have gone back and installed Derek Palmer's classic Dove/Devon in FSX. It is a works beautifully (at least with my SP1). I was looking for a Gipsy Queen Sound set, and have aliased the Dove to Dave Garwood's DH89a. Can anyone tell me if that is a appropriate choice, or should the Queen 70's have more "authority"?

For FSX thats about as close as you will get -- I think BOTH were aliased from the Fs9 DH Comet

There is the David Copley & Mark Cranston Dove/Devon soundset over at 'The Pond', here http://classicbritishfiles.com/index.ph ... nfo&id=447. I use these in FS9, so don't know how they would perform in FSX.

I've not had any trouble (so far) with using FS9 sounds in FSX.

Thanks for the leads. I downloaded the superb Davis Copley/Mark Cranston sound set. It work wonderfully in FSX.
