Someone with too much money has come up with a bright idea again. Next to the flight school that I work at an Ilyushin Il-18 is being assembled, it will be converted into a luxury 2-person hotel suite once completed. This particular airframe has already spent something in the region of 15 years outside as a restaurant. I wonder how long it will last.....

Due to shortages and cutbacks the light at the end of the tunnel has been switched off.
