Bruntingthorpe 03/05/09

Post by Tweek »

A few from Bruntingthorpe today. I think we were told not to post photos of a particular incident, probably due to what the CAA will have to say about it, but I can tell you that the Victor got a significant amount of air underneath its wheels! :o I'm sure photos/vids will pop up over time, but I won't be the first to post them considering we've been politely asked not to...

It was quite a day with one unexpected and heart stopping moment that I'm not likely to forget in a hurry. I was stood over by the Comet had a clear view of the incident and was really very worried it was going to end badly.

As Tweek rightly pointed out the commentator did ask for photos etc not to be posted but I don't think they'll be able to keep a lid on it for long.

I'm just glad it ended well for the crew.
