Re: Jersey 1972
Was nice seeing the old 748 and rare too being the short lived Dan Air Skyways in the first sequence.
Those were the days.......all the airliners there were British
and Darts abounded

Also VG in non standard (or incomplete) Dan paint (The "London" is missing) VG was already based at LTN when that video was taken.

Hi Leif
'XVG was 'Link City' so would that have meant no London titles?????.......she ended up briefly with Dan Skyways before that was wound up.
Nice to se them all just doing their job

Re: Jersey 1972
No the original "Link City" concept was the aircraft would only operate domestically for Dan Air so the "London" wouldnt be required - however as you know the 748s very quickly ventured father afield once they were with DAN. VG had "London" applied after being seconded to Gatwick to operate the LGW-BSL sched svc that Dan flew.

Thanks leif
Perhaps just a quick title job. Maybe because she was Gatwick based later wher the others were in various other places, most pics that turn up on the web seem to be G-AXVG
, as I remember doing the Dan research with you
