Defective Nails

Post by Filonian »

Two blonde men were working on a house. The one who was nailing down siding would reach into his nail pouch, pull out a nail and either toss it over his shoulder or nail it in.

The other blonde guy, figuring this was worth looking into, asked, "Why are you throwing those nails away?"

The first explained, "If I pull a nail out of my pouch and it's pointed TOWARD me, I throw it away 'cause it's defective. If it's pointed toward the HOUSE, then I nail it in!"

The second blonde guy got completely upset and yelled, "You MORON! The nails that are pointed toward you aren't defective! They're for the OTHER side of the house!"

Well it makes a change from blonde women!

It would be so much easier if the DIY stores would seperate the nails then bag and label them accordingly.Think I'll nip down to B@Q and suggest the idea.Who knows, I might even be rewarded. EricT

You're right Garry. All it takes is for the store manager to keep track of his stock. So obvious really. :dunno: EricT

I don't think they take enough care with stocks..some items apper always out.

I'm still trying to get a new bubble for my spirit level.......but I can't find one. Other times I'm over sold items. I've been down the garage many times with a flat and had to buy a whole new tyre when on each occasion it was only flat at the bottom! :@
