O.T Errrrrrrrr which way ??

Been wanting to take this picture for some time now, so thought I would share now I have a digital camera......it makes you think lol

I can't see the issue with that picture. Its a relatively simple traffic instruction. The first road on the right is a prohibited right turn(the road behind the chairs and tables). All vehicles must stop and turn right at the junction as that seems the only option!

Perhaps its been the scene of incidents in the past.

No Eddie.. you're right. At a first glance, it does seem there is no way to go other than cross country but that's because the nearest road (on the right) isn't immediately obvious. However.. I CAN see it being confusing. Jeez.. I live on a crossroad with 3-way traffic lights. You'd think seeing RED or GREEN was an easy choice between stop or go but as you know.. that aint necessarily so ;-)

Yep your right of course, I had take two pics this was the second, the first is a much better shot to
confuse . As I don't know how to edit a post I left it with the first one I posted, yes of course you
can see the "true" but I tell ya the first time I drove out of there any years ago I stopped and
went..............."whaaaaat"
Was just trying to have a little fun with it.

and no left turn onto the street

I wish I had a camera the day I came to an intersection that had been under construction .. like forever
a 3 lane intersection two thru lanes and a left turn lane in the middle

on and off the right turn and left turns were made unusable as the asphalt was being ripped up and recycled then
reused at the same location

One morning (early) I came to the crest of the hill leading to the intersection
the road ahead of me was completely blocked ( about as definite as the curb is in your picture
and signs posted No left turn and No right turn ... I got a chuckle and said to myself what the ......
But I want my coffee!!!!
the coffee shop was to my left caddy corner .. looked both ways then in the rearview mirror for the law
all clear .......... so I took a left and a quick right in to the coffee shop

HA!!

what they want me to do ......block a thoroughfare??

but in both cases ... at first glance
it's alot of red slashed circles

Yep, I think someone wanted to reinforce the STOP sign and went a bit overboard to be honest, although it's probably Photoshopped.

One of the best ones in the UK is the so-called magic roundabout in Swindon. Thats completely bonkers.
