On my way back from my aborted Waddo trip, I decided not to waste the day completely so stopped in at Elvington on the way home, just in time for this chappy...

Indeed it is Dave. The shutter speed was way to fast but literally jumped out of the car and started snapping. The dragonfly looks in great condition. I took some pics of the ground stuff with my other camera, but haven't uploaded them yet.

Great shots there Ben, what a stroke of luck. Nothing like the sound of a spit flying over.
