CHEERSThe eagle-eyed may have spotted we recently re-released the FS9 DH Sea Venom, DH Sea Vixen, Sukhoi Flankers Set, Dornier Do217 and Tu-22M3 Backfire. Well we saved the best until last - back in the store are the F-4 Phantoms ! All three Phantom packs are now available once again. They are still all for FS2004 and no changes have been made to these outstanding packages. Please note, Pack 3 is in the RAF/RN section of the Store, as it covers mainly the UK variants, although the RF-4C and RF-4E are also included in that package. Many thanks for 'FSDSMan' for allowing AlphaSim to sell these superb model sets on his behalf.

Now now... Play nicely or it'll end up in tears before bedtime and you'll be sent to bed without any supper.

Diminishing funds in the antipodes perhaps?

Unlike some critic's most of us do not earn a penny until a model sells. We do not have the luxury of a monthly income for our work and rely on sales if and when it is released. It would be great to have high morals when someone else is paying the bills and complain afterwards if you think you have a raw deal. Fact is you can get paid to jump or you decide when, what and how you jump. First case is you have no argument - you just do what your employer say's. Second case is you have the choice but have a big gamble on return and no 8 months comfort zone with a subsidised income small as it may be. Some of us never break even on projects let alone get paid to develop them but I guess most now that - don't they? I hear a lot of stuff as to why there is not a lot of new stuff for FSX - well maybe the critics should put up or shut up and begin to realise the required work involved - most without any funding is extreme to say the least. Maybe some of the old publishers may be appreciated for what they are and not what the loud mouths that do nothing to promote anything apart from there ego be accepted before they all disappear.
Firstly I would like to point out that this is not a personal attack on Rick (who I hold in the highest esteem as a modeller and developer) or anybody else who see's it as such.
Just a steam vent relieving some pressure and hoping a few more will understand that all is not a simple as it first appears.
My personal opinions (after a bottle of Vodka) and it is not meant to offend anybody apart from the tax man and anybody that does not like Chicken Tikka when you have had 6 pints.
