It's a very nice aircraft, thanks....

...but for some reason the RAF version isn't shown in FSX under aircraft even though it's installed the same as the other one ?

I think I got confussed between RAN, RN and FAA and ended up with RAF! Although surprised the Venom was FAA and not Royal Navy.
BTW watched on TV trials of landing a Venom without u/c on a rubber runway. Didn't catch on!

Fixed it! Would you believe I got the wheels on deck first time but had to do a bolter. Shame the carrier doesn't show up in replay. Hopefully in fsrecorder?

BTW I've lost my arrestor hook so I think I need to reinstall acceleration to get it to work again after a reg repair.
There's no wake on the carrier, is that normal?

There's no wake on the Carrier if it isn't moving, depending on the route she can sit dead in the water for up to half an hour or so at the end point. Obviously if she's moving there should be a wake, it's one of the standard Acceleration effects so it should be there.

Works OK, are you in the catch zone, you might want to change Cable force adjust to this for shorter stopping but obviously back it up first, The cat launch works ok too, did you try that ? if it works it is not a acceleration problem !!!

I reinstalled acceleration and that's fixed my missing hook.
I've not tried landing and launching yet as I couldn't find the carrier last time I tried, it sailed off!
To launch I guess I taxi over the shuttle, do the required key combo to hook up and then launch?
