ROFL! Journalists will go to any lengths to make a "story". I mean, WOW! Up until I saw that short film I didn't realise anyone had fun during WW2. And the question he asks about was it correct of them to have fun and play jolly japes is a good one! I doubt many wartime taxpayers wanted to see all there money wasted on half pints of bitter and combat airmen running around and being jolly silly. 
A great bit of home footage there spoiled by sensationalist local reporting. Wouldn't mind seeing it all some time.
