No.. me neither. It looked like a crash you could walk away from and so it transpired.. thank goodness. 1949.. 60 years ago and things in that part of the world haven't changed much! :D

Thanks for posting. That was interesting and I am glad the pilot walked away. I did find some of it amusing: from living in the Colonies, I suppose my perspective of distance has been changed somewhat. I had to laugh at “Nine miles to Porthmadog, the nearest town” and 1,700 ft peaks. "Wildest Wales"? :lol:

Wow, was he lucky!! :-O Though have to say I smiled when I saw in brackets (Exclusive) They were the only ones' there filming it!! :doh:
