Thanks for that Gary

Very nice.....great angles and nice to have no music :excited:

Only little thing for me was the landing lights that were only ever used in the dark :worried:

I enjoyed that........even if I am a bit biased :hide:

Wonderful video...memories of Silvercity circa 1963ish! I used to cycle to Lydd to watch them!

Keep up the good work!

How utterly delicious! What an excellent video!

I really enjoyed every bit of that and the static aircraft just finished it off a treat.

Well done Gary. Well done, Garry.

Thanks Guys!
Garry, do you know if the landing lights at night thingy applies to all the older aircraft with extendable lamps?

I don't think it a legal requirement even now.......just common practice against birdstrike.

The taxy lights should really be off too..but that doesn't distract from an excellent vid

Certainly never was the case in those days. I still see aircraft land sometime without lights in the day.

I saw Superfreighters for years but don't recall seeing them with lights on as I never saw one land in the dark...

I notice the beacon doesn't seem to be on :worried:

Hi Garry, thanks for the welcome, only recently got round to this excellent site. Hoping to use lots more of your planes etc. Still using FS9, lack of funds/knowledge precludes FSX! Took the DH89 for a flight around some of my favourite Greek Islands yesterday and will try the Bristol Freighter soon!

Happy New Year

The Freighter is my first and up to now only model :)

There are some gret model though on this site...check out the library and other British classics can bee found at Classic British FIles, plus extra paints for some of the models hosted here.

I'm still in FS.9 and the Superfreighter has been built for that sim so you have no worries there :)
