Can any-one please tell me how to stop the GPWS on the Viscounts to shut up!!!
Sorry, not often I have a rant but this really does me head in, have gone to the sound folder but cannot locate it neither does it shut up when using the trip switch on the radio panel, much as I love flying the Viscount I cannot tolerate 'Bitchin' Betsy' anymore as it appears to go off on approach and sometimes take-off or even when flying level and a slight rise in ground height ahead.
Tried everything but unable to stop her whinging,
any help gratefully received.
Regards
Nigel.

Nigel..
I guess you're looking in the aircraft sound folder and they're not there.. FSX add's them from the MAIN sound folder
I don't have time to look now but there is a cfg entry you can change too.

Ah.. I thought you were being sneaky by using FSX and not letting on
Do a forum search and I'm sure this problem will show as it's been mentioned a zillion times before
I don't have it (the problem) so there

Excellent.. I thought later that's where it would be for FS9 but didn't have time to come up and post. Glad you're sorted

I thought that not flying so low would be an easier way to stop it!

Well mate.. if you've seen his post down in the crew room.. you'll understand why 'TOO LOW.. PULL UP' is a bit annoying
