Don't bother looking for it - they've removed the evidence!

appeared in from of my car driving the country side.
the one that popped in front of my uncle wasn't so lucky

With as many miles as they drive, I wonder how many hapless squirrels, rabbits, and skunks they've run over in the time they've been doing the street-level mapping? Would be interesting to see if they happen to keep that kind of "roadkill stats". I know I've hit my fair share of "small game" while driving my company vehicle.

I've nearly had a few rabbits on my motorbike. Do my best not to hit them as I don't want to end up sticking out of a hedge!
Nearly had a low flying wood pigeon join me inside my crash hat once. That would have hurt if it had connected...

I hit a pheasant on my advanced course a few years ago. Just walked out from a hedge and into the road. Stupid dumb bird.
Over in the blink of an eye. There was nothing left. Not even enough for a kebab.

Back in the 1960s, one of my colleagues in Brisbane had an early-morning student job collecting roadkill for a petfood manufacturer.
