Portsmouth Airport for FSX
Here are some WIP shots of Portsmouth Airport rising again (from a sea of Wimpey Homes) in FSX and Horizon Gen X Volume 1.
Due to a wait on several other projects (Breighton is awaiting a library object from a third part developer), I thought I would brush off the digger and see what lurked underneath the current homes and gardens of north Pompey!
As any expert will see in the shots below, it is about 70% factual and 30% fictional, due to lack of photos. mix of eras and lack of really good scenery objects that fit the subject. I hope this can be overlooked, to have an alternative base for your C.I. operations.
The finished product will have AI DH-89 Rapides (is that OK Mr Garwood? ) and DC-3 Dakotas. The prop issues (and FR hits) on the HS-748 means I cannot use it as AI , but I am sure you can test your skill operating off grass there, as they did for several years.

Re: Portsmouth Airport for FSX
Portsmouth was the reason Channel Airways bought Daks as the Vikings could not operate from there
They did Sandown-Portsmouth and services from the CI....something to have a play with.
With Portsmouth in mind they ordered the 748, might not have otherwise and couldn't get rid of them fats enough after the day they crash landed two on the field althougth it took a while for the last one to go.
Looks great Trev

Looking good. I hate the fact that when airfields are developed, seemingly the entire site is classed as "brown field" (yes I know, if there are any planners on here they'll probably tell me I'm not quite right), but what was once a large predominantly green area becomes totally built over, shame
Well done to Trev for rolling back the clock!

Cheers Trebor A clue as to where it was would've been helpful (not Portsmouth.. the file!) or don't you want us to find it

Whoops, busy cutting and pasting the file name, I forgot the place!!
At present just at 'all nodes'...
http://www.flightsim.com/hotfiles.php
for the next few days, then search under Trevor Clark. Almost 100 downloads in two and a half hours, I am happy with that.
