Wisley's Future Decided

Post by VC10 »

A WASTE plant that will process 30,000 tonnes of rubbish a year is to be built on the former Wisley Airfield.

Maybe the locals would see the biz jet field that was proposed 37 years ago in a better light now.

That'll sit nicely with the very expensive homes with swimming pools that neighbour the Wisley site. A great shame and a waste of a nice tract of land in the Surrey countryside just across the road from the gardens at RHS Wisley. Not surprised to read its John Denham who has approved it though. Roll on May 6th.

Actually, I think it quite apt, the compost can be sold across the road at an inflated RHS price in nice bags.
