Slides-Airshow Images But....(2)

... Here is the second batch,following a similar line to the previous batch i.e. attempts to capture the feel of an airshow.Again a bit of a mish-mash but it's becoming a bit difficult to keep track of them.

Vulcan over a Varsity does it for me!

Sad to recall the loss of the Mosquito though. I watched her warming up to depart Duxford the day Hoof Proudfoot died in the P-38 crash, and wondered what must have been going through their minds. The following weekend, she was gone too. What a dreadful airshow season that was.

Wow, nice set. Some long missed aircraft in there. Definitely like the pic of the people atop the HH-3/HH-53 through the tail & #1 prop of the OV-1. :)
