Yes indeed.. what a valiant effort. So close and yet so far. Truth to tell, I was mortified, so engaging was the story.. I felt part of it

Very well edited...
Losing their friend then missing that year just to turn up 9 months later and see it grabbed from them.
They took it rather well...tbh I think I wouldn't be that calm.
A major achievement in very harsh condition and in that they were successful.....the did save it, and repair it despite the final outcome snatching it all away

Exactly that mate. They did exactly what they set out to do in every respect bar one dispite the many and often painful setbacks. A smashing programme and as you say, well edited. I honestly don't know if I could watch it again.. the end left me feeling so sorry, I was quite literally moved.
That said.. I can fully recommend it to anyone who doesn't know the story or hasn't seen the film before
