The space shuttle shrank in the wash!

Post by John »

Although the Space shuttle is nearing the end of it's life, it seems the idea is still a good one with the US military (although on a much smaller scale  )

Leif

Reminds me of an old joker heard at LTN many years ago

a LFC cessna 150 had to use the main runway during a particularly wet weekend when the grass runways were waterlogged.....he sat at the then midfield intersection while a Court line BAC1-11 back taxied and took off as it passed the midfield the tower instructed the 150 to taxi into postion and hold - to which the pilot replied "I'll just hold my postion here till the smoke clears" -- without missing a beat the Courtline pilot replied "Never mind, maybe you will be able to smoke when you grow up."

you had to be there
