Trident Fuel Gauges
Postby indimentor » Tue May 25, 2010 12:48 am
I have just installed the Trident (David Maltby) in FSX SP2, Vista SP2. It flies very nicely but the Fuel Gauges read 0 even when tanks are full. There are references to this problem in the forum and some changes to the fuel gauges XML files are required to correct the fault. Can someone tell me where I can find these files and the procedure for editing them.

Hi Bob..
I'm sure your post didn't look like it does now when I first saw it so not sure WTF is going on!
Anyway.. welcome
I don't recall this issue with the Trident and don't run it in FSX so I can't be of much help I'm afraid. However, many of the guy's here DO run the Tridents successfully in FSX so hopefully, one of them will be along to advise in the not too distant
In the meantime, I'll drag it over and have a look

Re: Trident Fuel Gauges
Hmm.. how odd
Anyways.. I've just dragged the Trident into FSX and am missing a lot of the internals (as it was a simple drag and drop rather than a 'correct' install) but, I do see the fuel gauges and they appear to be working fine mate. Straight out of the box, all tanks were reading 100%. Similarly, the fuelburn gauges work fine too so I'm at a bit of a loss I'm afraid

Hello Mate
Well.. Vista was responsible for more things 'odd' than Microsoft would ever admit to and that's for sure
Yep.. I'm still stuck here in XP SP3 and FSX/ACC

Re: Trident Fuel Gauges
Thank's chaps for the interest.
I should have said that the Fuel Burn gauges are fine and as far as I can tell everything else looks A ok. Although I still have not got the Autoland to work yet, but I think that is "me related"
Not sure what you mean about the post looking different!
Bob

Ah! Must be to do with the fact that I copied and pasted it from another forum.
Sorry about that.
