"The engines on a French Concorde are to be examined as the first move in a £15m project aiming to get the supersonic passenger jet back in the air. The Rolls Royce engines of the former Air France Concorde will undergo an initial examination to see what work needs to be done to start the engines." According to the BBC!
Well it's a lovely thought

HI John
That is how I understood the project......it was to taxy not fly and this was announced some time ago
I gues this is just them starting toe work.
A similar thing happened with the Freighter returning to ground running in NZ........some took that to mean it was going to fly again
I can't see a Concorde ever flying again as the type was grounded........it wasn't like some other type that just faded away until there were no more.

Cheers John
The restoration is without doubt and been planned for a while now.....to ground running/taxying condition.
I still can't see it ever flying again sadly.
