Superb Freeware Entandard!!!!

Post by Trev Clark »

The 'Royale French Navy' have released their Entendard for FSX (Acc) as a beta. The release is 99.9% complete, the beta being some minor carrier ops interaction on non French carriers at present!

In my opinion, this is the best freeware release of the year, super detail and super FR's......just a shame it's not a Bucc!!

Good grief!

Not one comment here on possibly the best freeware release of the year, possibly an anti-French feeling

No, I don't think so mate. I guess the number of fast jet simmers here aren't as many as you'd think ;) Whenever I get the urge to fly one (which isn't often).. I'd not chose an Etendard :)

The site is about Classic Bitish aircraft.........so I would think those that join here are not much into that sort of thing.

I'm certainly not....

Not saying it shouldn't be posted here......just saying that maybe you're talking to deaf ears :)

No, not anti-French... the only fast jets I use are from Rick and DaveG ;)

However irrational it may sound, for me (and possibly for others) the word 'Etendard' hits a raw nerve....along with the word 'Exocet'

I was going to say that but didn't. You've hit the proverbial smack bang on the head mate ;)

A long weekend in 1982 packing up EW kit for transportation via the Atlantic Conveyor................... No, I will not be getting it either.

Thanks for letting us know about it though Trev.

The first thought I had when I saw this thread was "Maybe it can be used for AI and I can chase it with a Sea Harrier?"

One shouldn't detract from the hard work people put into models but if FS had been available in the late forties/early fifties... I guess we wouldn't have been queueing up to download a Do-17 or a flyable doodlebug

Plastic kits of German WW2 aircraft have always been very popular, even back in the days when a lot of modellers were those that either fought or were under attack as civilians.
