ps - having just gone through the 40 screenshots on that page, I can see it won't be entirely accurate.

I don't remember ever seeing Paveways on a 3sqn GR3 *-)

Still - it'll give us something to do circuits at the Gütersloh scenery with! :)

It's so nice to be insane, nobody asks you to explain.

Very nice looking machine there,
SHAR variants as well... just the thing to fly of ramp of Hermes too :tunes:
Bit ironic that they've done away with the real thing just as this appears, but if it fly's as good as the screen shots look then it'll be a fitting tribute to the old girl. :excited:

First things first... I can't build anything :-( So I have no right to critise, but there's something (IMHO) that's not right about the shape, not sure what it is and also the paint looks far too glossy?

Kind regards

John

Ps For now I'll stick with the UKMIl birds

It's that time of year, Garry 8)

So far the Sigma and - dare I say it - abacus Harriers are the best I've come across, but this looks like it'll easily better both of them.

Of course, if we are not just talking MSFS, then the Strike Fighters 2 GR3 is the best sim Harrier I've flown - and you can actually blow stuff up with that one! :bandit:

JD

PS - and there is an excellent free add-on covering the Falkalnds War for it, too ;)

Don't know about the GR3 but the Sea Harrier doesn't look quite right to me.

Compared to:

The nose cone just looks wrong, not only is the black painted radome too small but the cone from cockpit to tip looks too narrow as well. Should be fatter IMHO.

Well, it hasn't been released yet, so you could pass on your findings - I'm sure they would be grateful for any feedback.

Either that or they'll tell you to sod off

Looking at that shot, the fan blades sort of jump out and hit you in the face, too *-)

I was Harrier GR3 Q'd in the RAF and yes it was a long time ago but I'm sure I don't remember a radar being presented on the map display! I also wonder when they swapped the engine for one with a pointy cone at the front.. It was faired into the intake skin (see below)

Another example of research being avoided at all costs
