Some pics of local electrical storm ( w/ Video)

Post by airboatr »

Hi gents and ladies <<< ( I saved the best for last ;) )

I walked out of the grocery store the other night and saw one of the most colourful sky I can remember. The spectacular violet green orange clouds grabbed the attention of those who left the store in the last few minutes of the sun setting.
My phone camera does it little justice.
Seeing the green gave me good reason to get home and grab my camera and wait for the lightning show.
I have a little video of the event I'm working to clean up and will upload. Although it's not great because of the limitations of low light sensitivity , it will though give a very good idea of the number of flashes that happened in a moments time.

Just one more animation from the first three photos I took. the fouth capture was video, but now that I see what was happening, I wish I'd kept taking stills as
it would have made for a better showing of the developing storm. ... me and my bright ideas Image .... Stay the course man Image

Thanks for the comments gents but it was nature doing all the work. All I had to do was point the camera and press de bouton.
