My house is on the flightpath for Heathrow. Frankly, I'm not surprised flights were cancelled. One moment it would be sunny, next, a monsoon...

Moaning passengers. God love em.
Perhaps the airport should let them fly. That'd shut them up being scared witless during a rock n roll flight.
You'd guarantee that they'd moan when they got to the other end.

Those that shout that they should go in any situation are the first to shout out that they should never have ever thought of going when something goes wrong.
It's always worth remembering that most rules like this that preven flying in cases like this, if not all, were brought in because of something happening with often fatal results.
