Sorry chaps, another Swiss Airshow

Post by TobyV »

You must be bored with them by now. This is the amusingly named "FLAB 75" (FLAB being what the Swiss call FLAK, Fliegerabwehrkanone) from Dübendorf. Delay in posting to due a little visit I paid to Rugby from Sunday to Tuesday evening.

Think that's a near miss report that needs to be filed?

Very nice Toby B)smk ..you're on a roll...and we're not cheesed off at all :)

Being Swiss there is always a splash of colour which is so well set off by their scenery which in these pics was not visible. :worried:

Still great shots even if there was no spectacular Swiss scenery to alp you B-)

Hi Garry,

Its pretty flat around this area. This is in fact between Zürich city and Zürich Airport (Kloten) itself. I believe it was once a civilian airfield before becoming military and is now mixed-use.

Hi Folks

Toby -
Great pics.

Particularly like that first diamond.
Looks almost like a wrapping paper, or Warhol print.

You're apologising for what reason? Some excellent pictures, of aircraft we would rarely to get to see here.

One complaint though - where are the foxy wingwalkers? :hide:

The tasty wingwalkers are likely as not back in Blighty! You guys just need to get out to airshows more often (where else do you expect to see attractive women?)

Great pictures Toby! Educational as well. Taught me to order Viel Zeit for a good beer if I ever go to Switzerland.

"Viel Zeit" translates as "Plenty of time". The Brewer is Falken and their range of beers appears to be here:
