Duxford Autumn Show Photos
Well, Duxfords last airshow of the year turned out to be a pleasant warm, sunny and still day.
A good selection of aircraft were present to represent the 'Korean War' theme. Also displaying, were the usual based aircraft along with a couple of visitors.
I have been working on my camera technique, regarding the use of slow shutter speeds with a zoom lens. The two main aims of this, are firstly to increase the blur of propellors and secondly to get motion blur whilst 'panning'. The main subject though should remain sharp.
I'm quite pleased with the results, with shutter speeds down to 1/90th of a second (Landing F-86 Sabre) on a zoom set at 280mm (420mm taking into account the camera sensor size).
Anyway, enough of the technical stuff.

A great selection of shots.
Re: Duxford Autumn Show Photos
Lovely shots, particularly the wonderful Meteor in its new livery - first airshow appearance?
Re: Duxford Autumn Show Photos
Hi Kevin, brilliant shots, love the meatbox, stunning. Reminds me of flying Rick's, time to go Valley hugging in the sim.
Ben.

Cheers Eric. I saw the sky and did my best to capture the Dak against it. Glad you approve.Tomliner wrote:I particularly like the 3rd Dakota shot but I ' m a sucker for the Dak anyway. EricT
Correct Chris - debut airshow appearance for this Meteor.Chris558 wrote:Lovely shots, particularly the wonderful Meteor in its new livery - first airshow appearance?
Thanks Ben. Rick's Meteor remains one of my favourite flightsim aircraft. A first choice for exploring new scenery.Ben Watson wrote:Hi Kevin, brilliant shots, love the meatbox, stunning. Reminds me of flying Rick's, time to go Valley hugging in the sim.
