Hello,
I just downloaded the Hawker Hunter Pack 3. The ZIP file contains one EXE file. If I click the EXE file, does it self-install to FltSim2004, FltSim2004/Aircraft, or should I expand it to a temporary folder? This is the first time I have downloaded one of CBFS' aircraft. I would appreciate your help.
Thank you.

Hi Art
As far as I'm aware, it will download to the FS9 aircraft folder straight away.. all necessary parts where they should be. IF you want it to go somewhere else first, you can specify your own temp folder

HI Art
The installer is set up by the author, meaning it's not a default operation but a something the author instructs the compile to do.
There have been some bad .exe occasionally out there but this one will be do just what it should.
As Dave says you can unload it into a temp in which case it will then be like any other install, but the .exe will put it all where it goes first pop.

I think (it was a long time ago
) the installer reads the location of your FS from the registry, so should install properly.
The installer will tell you where it's going to install, so just keep an eye on it to make sure it has picked the correct location, i.e. the FS2004 root folder.
Any gauges, effects etc will be put in the correct place.

Installed itself, just as you all said it would. Thanks for your help.
Beautiful sim. I think the Hunter was the slickest looking fighter every built. Still is, in my humble opinion.
Thanks again.

Glad it's worked ok Art. We're all very much of the same opinion.. if it looks right, it is right and the Hunter certainly looks right
