Hi Chaps :hello:

Are we all decked out in crimbo jumpers yet? :lol:

We decided to go for a 'joint' present this year (though it didn't work out that way 8) ) and the present of choice was a TomTom (thanks to Ian for his advice ;) ). First problem came when I took it out of the box and wound it up for the first time. It lasted about a min before the battery gave in :lol: No problem though.. being a clever chap, I got a charger for it. Tried to plug the charger in and it's the wrong one (the connector is too big)! First email of the year sent to Amazon! 8) I have it plugged into a USB port on the pc so it's charging up off that ;)

Anyone had anything 'off the wall'?

New camera here

the lens zoom is great! 28-840mm

This was taken with the lens at 56mm , which is pretty close to what the eye sees without the peripheral.

Worked Christmas Eve and am working today. I'll have to wait until my next day off to see what Santa brought me. ;)

A whole week with my lad, picked him up this afternoon :thumbsup:

The look on his face when he discovered the xbox, two controllers and games was priceless :excited: :lol:
