Captain Sim's 737

Post by Stanley130 »

Just a HU for everybody who likes this old lady. I'll better quote the newsletter I got:
1. Extensive preview on the 737 Base pack (VC and systems) is available.
2. 737-100 exterior model free demo is out.
3. 737-200ADV expansion model confirmed.
4. The Base pack will feature the -200 instead of the -100 model.
5. The Base pack release price announced.
The VC screenshots are great!!!

Mhm, looks really nice.

If they would offer it for FS9, I'd have a go on that one... :((

I've been watching this for a long time as I've got a bit of a soft spot for the fluf jet. As far as the sim goes, it's a nice size and uncomplicated to fly and it fits in almost everywhere. I shall definitely be buying it as soon as they finish the VC.

Downloaded the demo but not yet had a look at it, I also have the 737 default VC update from Simviation.

If anyone else wants to try it - http://simviation.com/1/search?submit=1 ... a&x=12&y=8

Not bad overall but the retracted main gear is a little odd *-)

Probably a dense question .... downloaded the demo but when I try to fly, it has doors, escape slide, spoilers, flaps etc all open / deployed - is that what "External Model" means, or am I being stupid and not doing something obvious to clean the aircraft up ?

That seems to be the way Captain Sim releases their demos. They released the demo for their C-130 with only one wing.

Just imagine the untold horrors...like for example, they might release a demo Boeing 737-700 in Southwest colours without winglets :-O
