VFR Treescapes

Post by DogTailRed2 »

Anyone have any Treescapes scenery installed?
When installed do you see the scenery under scenery library or does it just update existing scenery?
I had an error installing Trees Vol 1 but I don't see it in the library. Not sure if it worked correctly.

Yo! :hello:

Are you talking FSX or P3D mate?

If it's FSX, the ES installer puts the files into a default C:/Earth Simulations/Treescapes UK folder. It's a fully automated process.. all you have to do is confirm the locations :) I have parts 1, 2 and 3 and all went on no problemo ;)
If you're talking P3D.. you're on your own

Thanks Dave. I'm talking FSX. Until I've got this running I'll leave Prepar 3d for a while :) .
I'm also getting an FSX crash when selecting EGLC with VFR London. Anyone come across that before?
Might be a conflict between the two airports perhaps (original and VFR London airports?).

The trees are .agn files which are placed in the texture folder of the associated scenery folder containing the photo bgls. So, you will not see an entry in the sceney llibrary.

Ahh, that's what I was wondering. Thanks for that. I'll fly around and see if I can spot any trees

Just look in any 2.4m photo\Texture\ folder for files with extension .agn
