It's coming along nicely, Peter. I see the tourists are back already! And the wind power has been restored. Your team will have to work hard to get much more done before the winter sets in, though
You'll be interested in this post on the ORBX forum. Holger has released a map of the forthcoming FTX Southern Alaska scenery which will cover McLeland Field. I don't know how that might impact your plans. It will border Tongass Fjords to the south and run right up the panhandle to Anchorage and the Kenai peninsula. So Tongass will remain uncovered by FTX but will be an essential part of the scenery package, bridging the gap between Pacific Fjords and SAK. Which is a good result all round, I reckon, seeing as Holger will have been a major developer in all of them.
Well I will be very pleased to see it...It made a great deal of difference when he brought Glacier Bay through here and he made four special files to blend McLeland Field in. It also made Mountain Lake just like it is in real life and I was able to build my little SPB in there...Mountain Lake is a bit unrealistic and out of place in the default P3D scenery and my SPB is not visible. I will just leave that bit till Holger's scenery arrives. That is great news and I look forward to it
