Phil Everly Dies

Post by nigelb »

Phil, the younger of the two Everly Brothers has passed on. If your an old geezer like me, you will remember the Everly Brothers for their close harmonies, country tinged rock and roll and their influence on many acts from the sixties, including The Beatles, Beach Boys, Byrds, Holies and Simon and Garfunkel. Rest in peace, Phil.

What a crying shame. I was a huge fan while I was at school.

.....and others on one of my workshop CDs these days :(
Cheers, Mike.

That's a sad start to the entertainment World.

Many of their songs are still often played and known by modern generations.

RIP :(
