JustFlight Canberra PR9

Post by DaveG »

JustFlight's Canberra PR9 is released tomorrow (19th), so today is the last day to pre-order at a reduced price of £24-99 instead of £29-99.

Thanks Dave

I'm not really sure about this even at the pre-order price. It's not that I don't like the Canberra.. I'm not sure if I like it enough to spend £24.99 having recently bought the Nemeth EC130 I wasn't going to buy :wall:

I know what you mean Dave. Just Flight stuff can be a bit hit-or-miss. :worried: The screenshots do look pretty good though, and the comments from various beta-testers over at SimOuthouse sound favourable.
There's a link to download the manual over there too, so that may be worth a read.
I've taken a punt on it anyway

I'll probably snap at 2359 and do the same

If the 'outhousers' are speaking favourably of it, it can't be all bad. I do like the PR version too.. probably my fave ;)

Its an in house built add on unlike many others from JF. The guys were at the flight sim show at Cosford showing and working on it over the weekend. Theres ideas of if its well recieved and generates enough interest they may consider the other mk's...

I'd very much like this to be good and to own it - but I won't pay more than £20 for a JF quality model.

I'll wait for a sale or not bother - I have loads of Canberras already and I like them all.

Just got in from work & put the telly on. There was an old episode of "Classic British Aircraft" on one of the Sky channels which happened to be about the PR9

The runes have been cast Dave.. they have your soul!

I can see I'm gonna have trouble fighting this but I do agree with what JD has said. The quality of JF releases is inconsistent and in many cases, is worth the 'sale' price but little more IMHO. The Canberra does look a 'cut above' mind you :worried:

That's what I'm hoping Dave. Indications are it's better than the average JF offering, but we'll see.
I guess I'll find out tomorrow
