Apologies if this has been posted before, but I just came across it last night and thought it was absolutely fantastic.
Mind blowing photos of the truly eye watering AN-225

Not big enough for Putin's expansionist plans though..................
Nice find nonetheless!

An amazing aircraft for sure.
Thanks for the link G.
Here's an animated gif of the An-225 I found the other day which gave me a laugh.

It has fascinated me that the Russians don't seem to have cottoned onto the fact that a significant part of their aircraft industry is in the non-Russian speaking area of Ukraine . Also, sooner or later their supply of parts for their Western built aircraft is liable to be cut off ( particularly Boeing ) , and of course in the worst case their aircraft will be banned from Europe . Interesting times we live in thanks to that madman Putin who with his Anschluss reminds me more of Hitler every day - even the pretext is the same

AFAIK They don't have any Western aircraft. They are leased and fly under Irish or Bermudan registry.
Quite what position that put the leasing companies in remains to be seen.
