It has fascinated me that the Russians don't seem to have cottoned onto the fact that a significant part of their aircraft industry is in the non-Russian speaking area of Ukraine . Also, sooner or later their supply of parts for their Western built aircraft is liable to be cut off ( particularly Boeing ) , and of course in the worst case their aircraft will be banned from Europe . Interesting times we live in thanks to that madman Putin who with his Anschluss reminds me more of Hitler every day - even the pretext is the same

AFAIK They don't have any Western aircraft. They are leased and fly under Irish or Bermudan registry.

Quite what position that put the leasing companies in remains to be seen.
