Haynes Heathrow Operations Manual

Post by Garry Russell »

You know what it's like. Get up on a cold damp morning, turn the key and your airport won't start :(

This might help

Wipe the plugs and a quick spray of WD40 solves all problems.

That's true and in the case of something falling off, Duck tape (or Speed tape in Heathrow's case) will do the job

Interesting they do one for 'A' Class submarines. I'll be able to get mine back in commission now!

I got my copy recently after a long wait from my order...I love it and find it extremely interesting to find how much has changed since my time of 1964 to 1986, during which time it was permanently a building site...In fact I sometimes heard it described as "The only building site in the World with it own Airport"! Well that part certainly has not changed. I would strongly recommend the purchase of this very interesting book :)
