Hello Peter,
Thanks for posting, my old Dad was in those Horsa gliders at Arnhem, he did'nt talk a lot about the war, he was in the 6th Airborne and in the Middle East,
Sadly he past away a few years ago and of course you think now "why did'nt i ask him more".

Yes Roger...I have the same regrets...My Dad was in the RAF as a Carpenter/Rigger and spent 3 years of WW2 in Canada...My Grandfather lived with us through WW2 and had been a RN Gunner during WW1. I too wish I had been more enquiring
