Most of my cold calls get blocked thanks to the "Do Not Call" registry and a service available here called NOMOROBO (blocks robo calls) but the few that get through and ask to speak with me, I say "Just a minute, I'll get him" I then put the phone down and wait a few minutes before hanging up.
I must say the video mehod is far more creative! Thanks for sharing!

That was hilarious     , especially the bit referring to sexual preferences (am I allowed to say that ? :worried:).
One of my own favourites, is to pretend not to hear the caller - 'Hello, hello...HELLO!' followed by hitting the receiver a few times.
Another good one was a friend (surname - Rae), living in England with his Scottish fiancé. His fiancé would answer the phone, to be asked 'is that Mrs Rae'. Her reply - 'No, Mrs Rae lives in Scotland!'.
I also once told one of those 'Were from Microsoft' callers that I was an IT specialist (I'm not). I've never had someone hang up so quickly.
