A heavily modified ZA150 appears in the latest NatWest television advert. It was filmed as Dunsfold about 3 weeks ago. It took the film crew about 8 hrs to film less than 10 secs screen time. It makes you wonder why they didn't CGI the whole thing
I bet A few years ago, we had a foreign film crew shooting a scene on and around the entrance to PIM at Brooklands. Cyprus Airways logos had been added to PIM's door so I guess that's where the film crew were from. I always wondered just how long that scene would last in whatever film/programme it was for given that it took them all day to do it
I don't think you're supposed to believe it's a VC10 Roger. The bit where they filmed (the front of the VC10) has been cleverly CGI'd onto the back end of something else
Roger - If you look carefully you can see the t-tail reflection on the top of the fuse' & the refueling pod is still on the wing. You can also see the heat exchanger inlets at the base of the fin and the wing fence
Paul
If God had meant us to fly, he would have given us tickets.
You can also make out the lighter grey paint above the FD. Fortunately for NatWest.. the viewing public (if anyone actually watches these things) are not as critical
