Yes, very sad
Just seen this on the BBC news.
His character, Spock was an absolute icon when I was a kid and Star Trek a 'must watch' - Thursday evenings, if I remember.
He lived long, and it would appear he prospered.

Sad but he did have a fairly good innings. I always enjoyed watching him act the Vulcan part and trying not to show any emotion
