The Superfortress is absolutely my all-time favourite aircraft, and what a treat to see 'Doc 'emerging, ready to fly after all the years of hard work by so many dedicated people. What a triumph for all involved !
It's said she will join the CAF's 'Fifi' in displays this summer - who would have thought it would ever happen...two Superforts in formation.

Indeed. I think it was my dad showing me photos of his time on Washingtons when I was a nipper that ingrained it in me. I always give the Duxford one a pat on the nose when I'm down there. A lovely aircraft IMO
