Nostalgia?

Post by Airspeed »

Thought I'd listen to a few old numbers tonight, but it didn't last long.

After a few repeats, 1066, 1834 and 1912 get on your nerves.

Cheers, Mike.

Mike are you taking your pills in the right order? You missed out 1812 by the way.

And what about the year 2525 ? If man is still alive, If woman can survive - ain't gonna need to tell the truth, tell no lies. Everything you think, do, and say is in the pill you took today. :agree:

Who remembers Whitehall 1212?
Also 83478 my late mum's Co-op divi number! I don't expect that this will mean anything to our younger readers! :) EricT
Now at the age where I know I like girls but can't remember why!

I remember Co-Op divi - my mum never missed an opportunity, but then she was a child of the impoverished 1930s in Cumberland. I also remember Green Shield stamps, and Embassy cigarette vouchers where you smoked forty a day for five years in the hope of getting something like a Pifco hair dryer before expiring from lung cancer or emphysema. 8)

Better offers are had in these days...
Look what was sent to a recently deceased friend... I've been collecting the mail and caring for his English Bull Terriers.

Lower left hand corner if you please...
