Has anyone else heard anything about the latest ban on ex military aircraft from displaying over land?

My reading of this article is that there will be increased training and checks of airshow organisers and pilots. Whilst the AAIB is still investigating the Shoreham crash the temporary restrictions such as aerobatics by ex-military aircraft over land remain in force. They will be properly considered after the AAIB report.

It doesn't say ex-military aircraft are 'banned' from displaying over land, but that the current temporary restrictions will continue.

I just wanted a bit of clarification as a few chaps on my Facebook were moaning about a ban.

My understanding from the AAIB site is that for the present, all Hunter variants are grounded completely pending completion of the investigation . I think I got this from the last bulletin about the Shoreham crash

Yep except the military registered ones (IE HAA at Scampton).

Or those registered in another country. Caa only applies to UK registered as Hunter is not a type adopted by easa

The full CAA document is available for public viewing (CAP1371 if you want to google it). It's not particularly interesting reading, and a lot of common sense application (such as qualifications and experience requirements for those who want to display "more exciting" types).
