Not Long to Wait Now!

Post by Nigel H-J »

Before I go back onto the internet!! :excited:

Next Tuesday 1st November is the day that I have been informed that an engineer will come round to set me up, I have taken up a twelve month contract with Sky Broadband as the deal was too good to miss £17.50 land line then £0.00 for the Broadband.

So no more having to rely on the library which to be honest is a bit of a pain as the council that owns the computers have not updated them and presently using browsers that are near out of date, have not been able to even upload to You Tube because of this, no amount of requests have made any difference! :wall:

Will still pop in to the library until Tuesday but in the meantime prepare yourselves for an unprecendented amount of posts coming your way soon!!

Regards
Nigel.

Good news Nigel.. I know you've been waiting for home internet for years.

But this doesn't mean you don't have to get out for your exercise!

Welcome 'back' Nigel. I shall be pointing you at Alabeo sales, to give your broadband a good testing. ;)

Hi Chaps and very many thanks for your replies, I think it must be at least five years since we came off the internet and if my guess is correct it is quite frightening to think how quickly time has flown by.

But this doesn't mean you don't have to get out for your exercise!
Hi Joe, I think Dev may have been refering to the time when I used to smoke (although no doubt he will correct me if I'm wrong) and used to walk the dog to have a sneaky cigarette away from the wife :hide: Babs told me later that I was being deceitful but as far as I was concerned it was crafty as I knew Tara our dog would not tell on me.

I have since given up the weed though do admit to the occassional puff or two of the electronic cigarette!! :wasntme: BTW anyone intent on passing that one to the wife......she knows, but does not entirely approve!

Oh heck, got a shopping list as long as my arm but will have to wait a bit as have other shopping lists to go through before Christmas but one aircraft that really interests me is the HS748 from Just Flight. Although I still fly Ricks 748 and enjoy it the lighting when switched on causes a few visual problems on the flight deck so I only fly during daylight hours. Just a port over problem which we are all aware of.

Still looking at the BAC1-11 which keeps drawing me closer and closer to my plastic card.........then of course there is the future release of the VC10......Not to mention Instant Scenery 3. :help:

BTW, I noticed when reading up for my connection is that it may take up til midnight on Tuesday before going live but hoping it will be only a few hours after setup!

Regards
Nigel.
