Just watched a couple of birds overshoot runway across wind and one twin engined a/c take-off.

Couple of large black birds hanging around. They look like Australian Ravens, but obviously not. EDIT: Maybe Jackdaws?
Watched a helo cross to land of to the right, then a single landed, followed immediately by another taking off.
Plenty of road traffic ahead.
I've bookmarked it for future quiet moments.

They must have a flying school at Shoreham. Saw a couple of Diamond DA42's doing touch and go's.

Had my first flight from here as an ATC Cadet, in a RAF Dragon Rapide plus several trips in Avro Ansons.
